Twilight Skies
This is what I can see from my roof in the evening. It is quite a mission to get up there though! It was worth it to get pictures of the sky in this instance though - the clouds looked amazing.

Sweet as Sugar
These are my latest cupcakes - chilli chocolate with buttercream icing. They are definitely my favourite recipe, I'll post it sometime later! I also topped the icing with coloured sugar to match the cute pinky papers.

Glitter Pot
I love glitter, even photos of it! I painted a sheen of real glitter over the picture of it to give it the real shimmer effect, and added the dove with dimensional adhesive to make the wing stick out of the page.
This is part of a tag book I have recently started - the first page I already blogged about featuring a rocking horse and lace trim. More pages to come!

LIFE
The latest ATC - a little pastel and washed out in style. I'm finished exams and study for the semester - so I have two months in front of me to pack with creativity and inspiration. I'm looking forward to making lots and lots of art creations and sharing them!

Roses
Just a quickie photoshop collage today - I'm uber busy preparing for an exam on tomorrow morning. Oh how I wish I had started studying earlier this semester...

New Wallpaper
Feel free to click and save this wallpaper for your desktop. A bit of a depressing one today, but I do like the colour and images in combination. Made on photoshop with various brushes and textures.

Things are a-changing
You may have noticed some crazy things happening around here. I've been trying out different templates to make this blog prettier and more exciting to read than the old default template. Like it?
The new template is from Yummy Lolly and is a big improvement in my opinion!
It hasn't been all smooth sailing though... I am pretty useless when it comes to the inner workings of the internet, particularly html code and that sort of intellectualish thing. So when I realised I had two of everything on my blog - including two of every post - it took me ages to find which bits to delete.
Anyway..... I think I have sorted myself out for now! Any comments/criticisms etc just let me know!

I do love my florals...
This ATC was inspired by the scrap of floral wallpaper which I painted over and stuck to the card. Then I repeated the style over the rest of the ATC in a really textured, painterly style.

Two mixed-media ATCs. i have been experimenting with things extending out of the page - with both texture and dimension. I like the look of something sticking out from the usual border.
Waihola
It was my grandma's birthday last weekend, and we drove out to Waihola (about 45 mins away) to have a late lunch with her and my grandad. It's a tiny town next to a lake, and i took some cute photos in the sunshine by the lake!
Then after we sat out on a picnic table and it looked even more wonderful in the twilight:
